About Us

Michael Hale, the founder of Gulf Harbour Marine has been immersed in the world of boating right from when he was born.

From growing up on his family's different Markline's to buying his first "Do Up" runabout at the age of 11.

He has continued to learn, grow, and troubleshoot all sorts in the marine industry both personally and for others.

His skills range from general Marine Engineering and Installation to Marine Plumbing, Marine Electronics and Solar.

Michael also has 8 years of hands-on lead project management and thrives on troubleshooting, engineering, finding solutions, and focusing on the overall end result by keeping the quality, usability and aesthetics high while keeping the price low.

He has an experienced and genuine interest in all areas of boating which means he can see the whole project through incorporating all elements of your vessel for great a boating experience.

What do you Charge / Hour?

Our standard hourly rate is fixed at $85/h + GST (this covers any, and all of our services we provide)

Why so Cheap?

We like to keep everything in-house with the overall project in mind - this means we can manage a project efficiently and in respect to all other parts of the project without the downtime of stopping and starting and working around other trades.

In other words, when we manage your complete project, you won’t end up paying for our ongoing overheads - because we will actually be on your boat working (not trying to charge out a higher rate in order to cover our downtime).

What if I only need an hour of your time?

Well, that means that the initial 1hr of work we do for you is free. Your gain - We hope you'll share your positive experience with friends and consider us for future work.
